Complainants allege the company fails to meet promised delivery dates, damages to the vehicles during transit, theft, failure to pay for damages, poor customers service and inability to reach the company to check on the status of delivery or to obtain additional information on claims or service. Complainants further allege the vehicles sit at the pickup location for days before they are in transit and difficulty obtaining reimbursement for rental fees resulting from the company’s failure to deliver vehicles as promised. Some complainants state the representatives leave them on hold for extended periods of time, fail to answer the phones, treat them rudely or use vulgar language when they contact the company for information. The company generally responds to complaints by stating they can only provide an estimated time of delivery which are not guaranteed delivery dates and explaining that reimbursement for rentals are not provided. In some cases the company provides apologies for delays, issues monetary adjustments for inconveniences or discounts for future services. To complaints regarding damage to vehicles the company responds by processing claims, providing claim information, or denying damage claims based on mechanical malfunction and damages related to the undercarriage. Typically the company claims no responsibility for theft of items left in vehicles during transit. In general the company fails to address why shipments are delayed.
