This company advertises on internet employment sites, or responds to job seekers who post resumes on monster.com or other internet forums. The company reportedly contacts job seekers offering a position as a "Sports Director" or other similar title, and leads them to believe that a nominal charge of $24 will be billed to the card for promotional fliers that are to be distributed as part of a job description. Soon after, respondents find that their credit cards have been charged between $900 and $2000 by this company for 4000 heavy card stock glossy fliers.

We urge caution! This company is not directly offering employment or hiring anyone. They are selling fliers. Consumers who respond to these ads think they’re contacting a business that earns profits via unauthorized credit card charges. These companies usually charge advanced fees for equipment or services which have conditional no refund policies. Fees are typically imposed as a condition of employment along with false promises that most or all of the fees ultimately will be refunded. Most legitimate employment offers would not require their employees to pay the cost of their promotional fliers.
